Cube Acr Not Recording Incoming Voice

problem with call recording apps (not recording incoming line)

have been using "automatic call recorder" for a long time. went from s7e to n8 yesterday but i get no audio from the other line. tried messing with permissions but no luck. googling around i found some others having the same issue with s7/s8 phones. anyone having any luck with this app?

I use ACR and have no issues, just got to make sure settings are good.

MIC audio source, M4A (I use M4A-HQ), with audio delays of 3.

Is it labeled as ACR in the app store or it's this an acronym?

I can confirm, ACR works for me, for voice calls I use COICE_COMMUNICATION and the M4A-HQ, and for Bluetooth I use Auto and it seems to pick it up fine, permission notifier is saying it is using the MIC so that should work.

I've used these settings, but it's really hit or miss if it actually recorths both sides. Sometimes it does other times it doesn't, with no real rhyme or reason.

I'll be testing call recording apps when I get mine. I use Boldbeast because it was the only one to work on my Note 4 with Bluetooth. I would imagine it'll work on the Note 8.

I use Boldbeast as well, I have been working with the developer, so far we have not found a combination that works, I have sent him a number of log files, hopefully we can get it working.

I wish he was active on reddit, then we could work it out real time.

I use an app simply called call recorder. It works automatically for either specific contacts, or everyone. Auto records on answer wether they call me or I call them. I used it on my S7, blackberry keyone, and now S8, soon to be Note8. It's since been taken off the app store so I pulled the APK using adb. I'll host it and send it to you later today so you can test it out.

Finally? I've been using ACR since last Tuesday when I got my Note 8 with no issues at all. I'm enrolled in the beta program.

Records both sides, picks it up nice and clear.

No root, Knox still good, etc....

Just install and configure.

But KNOX has to be turned off. Meaning none of the secure apps like google wallet, android pay etc will work.

Is that right?

Just press Record button during call, or turn on Auto Call Record button which is on screen for automatic call recording.

If other side of call is not being recorded, click Settings - Call Recorder - Reset Call Recorder - and try the other settings.
